1. Introduction

Welcome to HJ Cabs ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and taxi services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via our website, mobile app, or customer support hotline.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message (SMS/Email/WhatsApp) from us.
  • Advance booking is recommended for outstation and airport transfers to ensure availability.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • Fares are calculated based on the vehicle type, distance, and duration of the trip.
  • Toll charges, parking fees, and state entry taxes (for interstate trips) are extra and must be paid by the customer directly.
  • We accept cash, UPI, and major credit/debit cards. Payment terms may vary for corporate clients.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Charges:

  • 0% charge if cancelled 24 hours before pickup.
  • 20% charge if cancelled within 12-24 hours.
  • 50% charge if cancelled within 4-12 hours.
  • 100% charge for no-shows or cancellations within 4 hours.

Refunds for prepaid bookings will be processed within 5-7 business days.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only. Smoking and consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited. You are responsible for your personal belongings; the driver or company is not liable for any loss.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
